Being the son of a preacher, I have been involved as a volunteer or on staff at small and large churches all of my life. I have devoted my life to helping the church partner with God in the ministry of reconciliation. After a couple of years in full-time ministry, I sought further education and training in marriage and family therapy in order to be better equipped to serve families in my ministry. In my ministry I stress the importance of home life in spiritual formation.
I believe a key in growing healthy churches is to have healthy families. My training and experience can serve the Colonies Church of Christ in empowering families to live “worthy of the calling” they have received. As individuals and families engage in Scripture together, the transformative power of God can work in and through the church to work in the “ministry of reconciliation”.
My wife, Alli, and I met while in college and were married in 2003. Alli has always supported my work and challenged me to become a stronger leader for our family and the church. She has been involved in praise teams, teaching classes, planning girl’s retreats, teaching women’s classes, and served on mission trips to Mexico. I believe my family is a valuable asset to my ministry and any church we would serve. We believe that the Colonies Church of Christ family is a ministry we could grow with for years to come.
