I Peter 5:1-4

Being called to become an Elder of the church is a massive responsibility. An Elder is to be a shepherd, teaching and preaching the Word of God, ensuring the church stays grounded in sound doctrine. He must set an example of biblical character and spiritual maturity and lead the church through thoughtful prayer and God's guidance.

We are proud to call these men our Elders as we trust their wisdom in leading our congregation.

Our Deacons are men of good character, dedicated to serving God through their service to the church. Here at the Church of Christ at the Colonies we are blessed with a group of faithful men who take care of the needs of the church  and our congregation. As the Apostles instructed the church in Acts 6 to select seven men "of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom", we have chosen these men to oversee the practical and logistical business of the church.
